An avid gardener all of my life, I have cherished the gift of Mother Nature's vast array off flora, from trees and their leaves, and flowers! Many may know me as Cment2b, the concrete sculptor.- fountain builder. Retiring from this medium a few years ago because as I grow older, hauling my fountains all over from show to show had gotten to be too much. And so a transition was in order.
And as I moved away from this art-form, I found eco/botanical printing! A much lighter way to channel Mother Nature's leaves into art! I have truly "turned over a new leaf "

What Is Eco- Printing?
Eco-printing is a technique where plants, leaves and flowers leave their shapes, color, and marks or finger prints on fabric. Plant material bundled inside of cloth is steamed or boiled to release the dye found naturally inside the plant, creating a contact print in the shape of the leaf or flower used. It also works with paper and bisque ware.
